Bead Camp is for kids 8 years old and up. This morning session includes two projects. The first project is making a bracelet using Czech pressed glass on flexible wire. No needle, easy to finish, and strong. The second project uses soda, tea, and other aluminum beverage containers to make flowers.
For those wanting more than one session of Bead Camp, the cost goes down to $49/session. This discount cannot be offered on line. Please call to get this discount. Each session of Bead Camp needs a minimum of 4 participants.

Use Toho seed beads to learn ladder stitch and chevron stitch to make a quick and simple bracelet that has high impact. You will use one color of larger beads for the base and then embellish it with slightly smaller beads in three colors. The “V” shape is stunning.
$60 registration fee covers all materials and instruction.

Learn to incorporate focal beads into a double 5-strand braid. Techniques for keeping the work tight and under control will be emphasized. Binding the ends for insertion into glue on magnetic clasps will finish the bracelet. Vegan options available.

Learn or hone your tubular herringbone skills to create this slightly undulating bracelet. Varied sizes of Toho beads and colors will be stitched to accentuate the ins and outs of the pattern. Your beading will go faster than you think, as you will be stitching 2 beads at a time.

This is the last of a 3-part series of wirework projects using basket weave. Use 7 base wires and 3 simultaneous weaving wires to create the pattern for this cuff bracelet. Tips and tricks for controlling long lengths of wire will be shared. Learn how to end the weaving wires, finish the ends and shape the cuff.

Use Delicas in flat peyote stitch to make this lovely bracelet. In this class you will learn how to do beaded color grading in a simple, yet efficient manner. Then you will learn to finish the edges of this bracelet with a picot technique. Finally, learn to add a clasp with a loop closure. That’s three skills in one project!!
