Summer Bead Camp: Make a Bracelet and Recycled Blooms

Bead Camp is for kids 8 years old and up. This afternoon session includes two projects. The first project is making a bracelet using Czech pressed glass on flexible wire. No needle, easy to finish, and strong. The second project uses soda, tea, and other aluminum beverage containers to make flowers.
For those wanting more than one session of Bead Camp, the cost goes down to $49/session. This discount cannot be offered on line. Please call to get this discount. Each session of Bead Camp needs a minimum of 4 participants.

Prerequisites: No experience needed.
Learn to wrap thinner wire around thicker wire. This is a contemporary wire wrapping technique. Create a loop with this technique. Slip a recycled glass donut on this loop to form a lovely earring. Add an ear wire or create your own post.

Get in the groove of doing flat right angle weave by making a wide cuff bracelet.This is a stitch that takes some repetition in order to get your rhythm.We’ll throw in a bit of color grading to boot.Add a clasp and you are ready to wear your new RAW bracelet.
