Using wire and stone beads that have a channel carved on the perimeter, create fun and one-of-a-kind earrings. Design your dangles, maybe make each earring unique, and enjoy wearing these unusual stone earrings. This technique takes some hand strength, so be ready to work hard.

Participants will embellish a copper blank by stamping or pounding it. Holes will be drilled at the bottom. Silver wire will be balled up with heat, beads added, and the bottom forged to capture the beads on the wire. No experience needed.

Learn how to create a two-lane braid with beads on the side and cord in the middle on a kumihimo foam disk (or bring your own marudai). The result is beautiful. This bracelet ends with a button closure.

The cactus is shaped with a thicker wire Use your body and common household items to shape your cactus. Then embellish it with seed beads and smaller wire. Add a few flowers and you have your flowering cactus.

Use your peyote stitch in an unusual way. Create a two-color double sided diagonal peyote strip that changes directions. Then fold it on itself to reveal each color on each side. Then zip it together. A great “next steps” peyote class.

In this 2-hole bead design by Deborah Hodoyer, create square components out of GemDuos, Toho round seed beads, and fire polish beads. Bead them together to make a bracelet. This component makes great earrings, too!

This is an intermediate lampworking class. Participants will be encasing with clear, creating a pattern with layers of dots, and raking this pattern into a plume. Varied shapes of beads will be explored using this same pattern.

Learn to wrap and secure a focal bead to create the body of an earring. Create loops for smaller dangles to hand from the bottom. This technique can be made smaller for a smaller set of earrings, or larger and/or longer for a dramatic pair.

Using copper wire and small spacer beads, create a “ring keeper.” This piece is a lovely piece of jewelry that doubles as a place to keep a ring safe from gardening, dish washing, or wrestling. It is a bit magical. It doubles as a place to put your eyeglasses. The kit comes with an 18” copper chain.
