Prerequisites: Ability to make a wrapped loop. Call for a private tutorial.
What better way to celebrate the upcoming Summer Solstice than to make a pendulum? Using stone, chain, and wire, students will create beautiful hanging points. Students will utilize a sampling of important fundamental skills–stringing, crimping, wrapped loops, and wire bails–and learn to use them together to make a swinging pendulum. It can be used for metaphysical practices, play, or simply as a pretty sun catcher. A discussion on how to use them will follow.
