Peyote stitch is a basic and incredibly versatile seed bead weaving technique. Beading books and on-line resources have many projects that utilize peyote stitch. This workshop will share flat and tubular peyote, even count, using Toho seed beads. Learn when to use each stitch and walk away with samples of each.
This class is a prerequisite for many Beadology Iowa classes, including Fancy Barbell Beaded Toggle later on March 12.

Learn to use two-hole CzechMate tile beads to make a base off of which you add layers and layers of ruffles. You won’t believe how easy this glamorous bracelet is to make. This piece uses very small Toho seed beads, so be sure to bring your reading glasses to class.

Use your peyote skills to learn diagonal peyote with Delica seed beads. Embellish your leaves with Toho round seed beads. These leaves are wonderful as a pendant, earrings, or a branch full of them cascading down a lariat. Modifications to make them thinner, wider, and longer will be discussed.
