A great project for not only learning this weave. This class is an opportunity to hone your wrapped loop skills. Design an ombre set of fringes that is incorporated into the weave of the hoop. Create a beautiful pair of earrings.
Ombre Kumihimo Bracelet

Learn how to create an ombre pattern and to do a classic round braid on a kumihimo foam disk (or bring your own marudai). This bracelet ends with a glue on plated magnetic clasp.

Prerequisites: Introductory wire weaving (not wrapping) skills.
Take your wire weaving skills to the next step with this new class. Use square wire to capture a bead with prongs versus a bezel or wire wrapping. A simple bail will be constructed to create a smooth line when finishing this delicate pendant. This will increase your wire working skills and you will walk away with a lovely pendant. These skills can be used for smaller and larger objects.

Choose your pronouns and place them on a pair of cupped copper earrings. Participants will learn to stamp and dap copper disks into earrings of their design. Some may choose to keep their copper bright or oxidize it for a different look. Beads will be added to the center and/or the bottom. This is an active and loud class. This is a great intro metal working class.

Turn your peyote stitch into cellini stitch by utilizing varied size beads in your stitching. Create a few rounds of peyote, then switch the direction of your spiral to create a bold and elegant middle. Then finish up your other end to create a slide into which you can add a beaded lariat, chain, or other cord of your choosing.

This is a 2 Part class with the second session on Sunday, November 6, from noon to 4pm.
Part 1 of this class will focus on creating 14 flower components for this great holiday ornament. Participants will use SuperDuo and Toho round seed beads. Some components may need to be made in between Parts 1 & 2 of this class—yes, there is homework. Part 2 of this class will place a focus on connecting components around the ornament.
