Make a long CRAW chain and connect it to make this lovely pendant. This is a great project for getting into a good rhythm with cubed right angle weave and for getting comfortable with making connections with this stitch and embellishments. This pattern works for earrings, too.

This design by Cathy Edwards is a combination of circular peyote stitch and circular herringbone stitch. The result is a lovely pendant combining seed beads, fire polished beads, Czech and Swarovski crystals and pearls. An innovative design. Using varied sizes of Toho seed beads, make a horseshoe shape. Insert dangles in the negative space and another on the bottom, and you have created an unusual lightweight earring with high impact.

Use a jeweler’s saw and bench pin to cut out a design from a copper disk. Utilize your cut out or parts of it, as a dangle for your earring. Add an ear wire and you are ready to wear.

Use Delica beads to make 6 diamonds sewn together. 3 for the top and 3 for the bottom. Insert a bell and sew your halves together. This is a great project to hone your patterned brick stitch skills.

Alyssa will help you follow this lovely pattern by Deborah Hodoyer that appeared in the August/September Beadwork magazine. Capture a Rivoli securely with Toho seed beads using peyote stitch. Then use Super Duos, peanut beads, fire polish beads, and seed beads to embellish the crystal to make this dimensional pendant. Students must either have the magazine or purchase the pattern for $4.

Dutch Spiral is a modification of tubular peyote. Participants will learn to use varied sizes and/or shapes of beads and add more than one bead into a stitch to create the undulation of the spirals. Learn how to incorporate a hidden clasp.
