Make beaded beads using Czech pressed glass beads and varied sizes of Toho round seed beads using a pattern by Barbara Lepak. The way these beads become stiff and solid is very innovative. Then add a drop to create a unique earring.

Kumihimo Bracelet with Pinch Beads

Learn how to create a classic round braid on a kumihimo foam disk (or bring your own marudai) using pinch beads. The result is beautiful. This bracelet ends bead caps and a lobster or spring ring.
Tools needed are a kumihimo disk and 8 weighted bobbins.

Stitch 20 triangles using peyote stitch and learn how to sew them together to make this visually stunning 30-sided ball. In session one, learn to make the triangles and make as many as you can. The second session will focus on assembly. Participants are expected to come to the second session with 20 triangles (homework!).

Brick Stitch Woman in Skirt Pendant

Students will learn brick stitch, one of many off loom bead weaving techniques. Using Delica cylinder beads, students will form the torso of a woman, with 3-dimensional arms. The fringe of the skirt creates a flowing earring or pendant. Choose your woman’s skin tone.
