Join the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library’s to celebrate the opening of this new exhibit that showcases a new form of bead art, the ndwango (“cloth”), developed by women living and working together in rural KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. Ubuhle co-creator Bev Gibson will be on hand to share stories about the community’s artists and the art featured in the exhibit. Works of art will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served.
