Use square copper wire to create rounded chain links. Add beads to some, add links to each other. Then make a compatible clasp and you are ready to wear. A fun project for a Friday night.

Arrow Plait Bracelet

Using weaving techniques typically used on wheat, plait copper wire and shape it into a bracelet. The weave is different on two sides, so you can decide which pattern you want to show on top. Create a matching hook clasp.

Learn to wrap thin round wire around square wire to create an armature. Shape your piece. Add a lovely bead at the bottom and create a loop at the top. Connect an ear wire and you have a lovely pair of earrings.

Create a square with wire. Wrap it with wire and incorporate jump rings to create links. Connect up your links with more jump rings. Then end your piece with triangles that are part of the toggle closure.

Larimar is becoming scarce, and this is a beautiful specimen. Not only that, but it’s made more beautiful by the talents and skills of Zanetta Hoehle. She uses bronze wire to wrap it and then make a chain using a technique called Viking knit. It has an adjustable length between 15″-17″.

This is a great next steps wire working class for those with basic wire wrapping and weavings skills. Participants will create a wire woven cage that will sit on top of a bead, to make a dangly pair of earrings. These cages make for a great component in other jewelry projects.

A great project for not only learning this weave. This class is an opportunity to hone your wrapped loop skills. Design an ombre set of fringes that is incorporated into the weave of the hoop. Create a beautiful pair of earrings.

Prerequisites: Introductory wire weaving (not wrapping) skills.
Take your wire weaving skills to the next step with this new class. Use square wire to capture a bead with prongs versus a bezel or wire wrapping. A simple bail will be constructed to create a smooth line when finishing this delicate pendant. This will increase your wire working skills and you will walk away with a lovely pendant. These skills can be used for smaller and larger objects.

Make a variety of clasps using copper wire. A woven hook clasp, work and flatten wire for a few more hook clasps, and a toggle clasp. With these skills, you can make a clasp to match your wire work pieces.
