Using a pattern by Barbara Lepak, bead bezel a Swarovski Rivoli. Embellish your piece with an unusual technique to tighten things up. Add an ear wire and you are ready to go.
Resin Pendant/Earrings through Kirkwood Community College

Prerequisites: No experience needed.
Design a pendant with something you bring from home—a photograph, image, small item—which you imbed in resin to make a pendant. This item might be a dried flower, a wing, a seed, a charm–it could be anything not more than 1/4″ deep. Some materials will be provided. Learn to mix resin and pour it into a pendant mold. The resin will have to be cured overnight, so participants will have to come back the next day or after to finish their project.
Registration is through Kirkwood Community College. Register at:
kirkwood.edu On site registrations will be taken if registration through Kirkwood meets minimum requirements of two participants.

Learn to wrap thin round wire around square wire to create an armature. Shape your piece. Add a lovely bead at the bottom and create a loop at the top. Connect an ear wire and you have a lovely pair of earrings.

Using stone beads, create CRAW squares and tubes. Embellish your work with Swarovski crystals. Stack these components on a headpin in opposite ways to create earrings that are asymmetrical and perfectly balanced.

Make a whimsical needle felted mermaid tail from a variety of colorful wool choices. Needle felting is a process of using barbed needles to turn wool fibers into a more concentrated material. Decorate your pendant and make a bail.

Use waxed linen to wrap ball chain around a piece of leather. It sounds so easy and looks so good. Add a button clasp on one end and a loop on the other, and you are ready, set, go! Vegan option available.

Make beaded beads using Czech pressed glass beads and varied sizes of Toho round seed beads using a pattern by Barbara Lepak. The way these beads become stiff and solid is very innovative. Then add a drop to create a unique earring.
