Using copper wire and small spacer beads, create a “ring keeper.” This piece is a lovely piece of jewelry that doubles as a place to keep a ring safe from gardening, dish washing, or wrestling. It is a bit magical. It doubles as a place to put your eyeglasses. The kit comes with an 18” copper chain.

Use peyote stitch, herringbone stitch, and other techniques to bezel a Swarovski rivoli and to create an amazing turtle. You will be using Superduos, round Toho beads, Miyuki Delicas, magatamas, and feather beads to stitch your turtle.

For those with basic hollow glass skills, this class hones your skills with blowing boro hollow tube glass with decorative elements. The result is a blown glass sphere with a bail for hanging. Get ready to go into the studio to make friends and family holiday ornaments, yard art, or very large earrings!

Using wire and stone beads that have a channel carved on the perimeter, create fun and one-of-a-kind earrings. Design your dangles, maybe make each earring unique, and enjoy wearing these unusual stone earrings. This technique takes some hand strength, so be ready to work hard.

Participants will embellish a copper blank by stamping or pounding it. Holes will be drilled at the bottom. Silver wire will be balled up with heat, beads added, and the bottom forged to capture the beads on the wire. No experience needed.

Have a lot of fun stitching GemDuos and SuperDuos to make squares beaded together to form a wonderful bracelet. It looks like a traditional quilt square. Use this pattern to make matching earrings.

Use a variety of techniques to add glass to copper or kiln wire to create flowers. Techniques used include winding glass, dots, pulling, smashing, cutting, swiping, and more. This is a great intermediate lampworking class. Experimentation will be encouraged.

Don’t be a cog, make a cog! Create a tight circle with cubed right angle weave, CRAW. Then use a new embellishment technique in the center. Stitch in the ditch around the edges. Build a structure from which to hold your ear wire on your new beaded earrings.
