Cupped Copper Earrings

Participants will learn to stamp and dap copper disks into earrings of their design. Some may choose to keep their copper bright or oxidize it for a different look. Beads will be added to the center and/or the bottom. This is an active, fun, and loud class.

Double Braided Copper Wire Bracelet

This stitch originated in Russia. This class will get you familiar with the double version of this stitch with lots of repetition to create a bracelet. This stitch is great for making leaf motifs, too. You will use Toho seed beads and pressed glass from the Czech Republic.

Double Terminated Point Pendant

Filled Cubed Right Angle Weave Chain

Create CRAW triangles with Toho 11/0 seed beads and “fill” each cube with a contrasting color. This is a quick and easy method of adding depth to your beadwork. Learn to make connections that are flexible to make a chain of triangles.

Continue to explore the art of lampworking with a torch and glass rods. In this class, you will learn more techniques for manipulating color, making the perfect dot, and shaping with a goal of making a variety of more complicated shapes, including a hollow bead–see the great fish beads in the photo to the left. Your beads will be annealed overnight at the store.
You must be at least 15 years old to register for this class.
