Chenille Stitch Bracelet through Kirkwood Community College

Prerequisites: No previous experience is necessary.
Learn one of the newest stitches to hit the bead world. Developed by a French designer, this stitch is reminiscent of herringbone and netting, yet has a flavor all its own. No previous experience is necessary.

Use Toho seed beads to learn ladder stitch and chevron stitch to make a quick and simple bracelet that has high impact. You will use one color of larger beads for the base and then embellish it with slightly smaller beads in three colors. The “V” shape is stunning.

This session helps people follow the pattern published in the Dec 2018/Jan 2019 Beadwork magazine. Participants must have a copy of the magazine or pay $7.99 to download a copy of the instructions to register.

Catch of the Day–Twined Fish Pendant
