Join Al Dawson, Beadology Iowa’s official historian, in a talk about the history of the space currently occupied by the bead store. Al will discuss this 1880’s building that has thrived as a bakery, an optician’s office, and a jewelry shop, a techno bar, as well as many other interesting uses. Be the first to learn how the building got its mysterious name. You are encouraged to bring your lunch; beverages and dessert will be provided. Sponsored by The Center.
