Sunburst Pendant

Prerequisites: Any wire working or weaving experience.
Learn to use two thicknesses of wire to weave this sunburst pattern with a bead in the middle. You will remove some wire to get your shape. Make a fancy woven bail to complete this project.

A great way to utilize wire and pearls, stones, or crystal to create a quick and beautiful bird’s nest pendant filled with “eggs”. Make a smaller version on your own for earrings. Use birth stone colors to represent children in a family as a precious gift.
During the COVID-19 recovery period, classes are limited to 6 people on a first come first served basis via paying the registration fee. Masks must be worn during class and participants will be spaced at least 6 feet from each other. Tools will not be shared and will be cleaned before and after use. This is a great next steps wire working class for those with basic wire wrapping and weavings skills. Participants will create a wire woven cage that will sit on top of a bead, to make a dangly pair of earrings. These cages make for a great component in other jewelry projects.
