Twisted fringe is a Victorian era technique that desperately deserves to have a comeback. To make these earrings COVID-era friendly, you will need to find an alternative to using “grandma spit” on your fingers to make the fringe twist. We suggest water or those rubber finger tips you can get at a office supply store (and who doesn’t love their office supplies?). This kit includes Swarovski crystals and sterling silver headpins and ear wires.

Learn the right touch to make your beaded fringe hang with just the right amount of dangle, yet have no thread showing. Then give it a little twist to give your fringe further dimension. You will use Toho seed beads and Swarovski crystals. This pair of earrings will focus on the fringe yet includes ladder stitch and wire work.
