Using instructions from beadwork designer Gianna Zimmerman-Lammering, make a beautiful pendant. The centerpiece is a Rivoli that is highly embellished with seed beads and Swarovski crystals. Then add an innovative herringbone technique that ends with a Swarovski dangle. Participants must download and print the instructions ($5.09) and bring them to class. Beadology Iowa will offer a supplement to enhance the instructions.

Use your herringbone skills to make flowers that can also be used as cones. You will learn to increase and add different sizes and shaped beads to your tubular herringbone. Add Czech pressed glass and Swarovski crystals in the middle of your flowers to make a lovely pair of beaded earrings.

This is a great project to expand your herringbone stitch skills. The kit includes bronze Toho round seed beads, cream Swarovski pearls in 2 sizes, and gold filled ear wires. You will make a band that will fit around the pearl, then create one clover leaf and connect it, then the second. The last step is to add your pearls and ear wires.

Create a herringbone graduated tube using 3 sizes of Toho round seed beads. Add Swarovski crystals and the herringbone tube on a headpin and make a wrapped loop.
