These lightweight, colorful bracelets are intricate looking and beautiful. The pops of color are fantastic flashes on a wrist. The rainbow bracelets were part of our celebration of over 50 years of Pride in Iowa City. The rings used in these bracelets are anodized aluminum, unless otherwise listed. We have a few color choices, but welcome custom requests. Works well with school and sports team colors. Call 319-338-1566 with a size and color scheme then add 15% for custom orders.

In this third class of our Pride Month celebration, create a beaded portrait of Marsha P. Johnson, an American gay liberation activist and self-identified drag queen. Known as an outspoken advocate for gay rights, Johnson was one of the prominent figures in the Stonewall uprising of 1969. Learn to follow a 2-drop peyote pattern and see this activist come to life. Look for more portrait classes in 2023.

Learn the best technique for opening and closing rings with 2 flat nose pliers. Create a simple, yet great looking bracelet by making links with the rings in the colors of the rainbow to make a Pride bracelet. You’ll have time to make more for friends before Pride Month activities.
