Resin Pendant/Earrings through Kirkwood Community College

Prerequisites: No experience needed.
Design a pendant with something you bring from home—a photograph, image, small item—which you imbed in resin to make a pendant. This item might be a dried flower, a wing, a seed, a charm–it could be anything not more than 1/4″ deep. Some materials will be provided. Learn to mix resin and pour it into a pendant mold. The resin will have to be cured overnight, so participants will have to come back the next day or after to finish their project.

Kumihimo Bracelet with Pinch Beads

Learn how to create a classic round braid on a kumihimo foam disk (or bring your own marudai) using pinch beads. The result is beautiful. This bracelet ends with bead caps and a lobster or spring ring. No experience needed.
