Prerequisites: Any seed bead weaving experience.
Part 1 of this class will focus on creating multiple components for this great holiday ornament. Participants will use Delica seed beads to create each component. Some components may need to be made in between Parts 1 & 2 of this class—yes, there is homework. Part 2 of this class held on Sunday, November 3 from 1-4pm, will place a focus on connecting components to create the star ornament.

Use netting stitch to create a beaded cover for mini glass holiday ornaments. These are so cute and small enough to wear as large earrings!

Prerequisites: Basic peyote stitch skills. See Branched Fringe Earrings on Jan. 13.
Sat., Jan. 27 & Sat., Feb. 3, 10am-1pm both sessions: –$126. This is the second session.
Stitch 20 triangles using peyote stitch and learn how to sew them together to make this visually stunning 30-sided ball. In session one, learn to make the triangles and make as many as you can. The second session will focus on assembly. Participants are expected to come to the second session with 20 triangles (homework!).

Join new guest instructor Jim Emigh in making a 2-color holiday ornament. Use Toho seed beads in two colors using a netting stitch. Careful, you’ll want to make more of these. This is a lovely project that makes a great gift.

Prerequisites: Basic peyote stitch skills. Call 319 338-1566 to schedule a private tutorial.
Your peyote skills will get a workout with this star made of six peyote sections. In the first session, learn how to make the wing star with six “wings”. If you don’t get them all made, you will have homework! In the second session on Sun. Nov. 2, also from noon to 4pm, assemble your components into a winged star ornament.
