Textured BronzCLay Earrings

Bring sticks, wood, wings, leaves, buttons or any other objects with an intriguing texture. Some will be provided in class. Learn to create textures in BronzClay. Manipulate the clay to form earring components. Piece will be fired and tumbled the next day, so students will have to come back to pick up their pieces and assemble their earrings on their own.

Join us in this new kind of workshop for Beadology Iowa. This workshop will be a combination of lecturettes, demonstrations, and experiential learning about the various tips and techniques for designing and creating asymmetrical pieces. Participants are encouraged to bring asymmetrical pieces in their collection—those that work and those that don’t—to be incorporated into the conversation.
