This workshop will be a combination of lecturettes, demonstrations, and experiential learning about the various techniques and strategies for designing and creating multi-strand pieces. Participants are encouraged to bring multi-strand pieces in their collection—those that work and those that don’t—to be incorporated into the conversation. No experience necessary.
Registration is through Kirkwood Community College. Register at:
www.kirkwood.edu and go to Continuing Education and then search for Beadology Iowa under the instructor search. On site registrations will be taken if registration through Kirkwood meets minimum requirements of two participants.

Do you love jewelry and jewelry design? Become an expert beadologist using Czech Republic pressed glass beads and sterling silver spacers to make one-of-a-kind bracelets. Learn different bead stringing and finishing techniques to make beautiful creations. Each person will make a bracelet using flexwire, nylon, and elastic! Register at: Kirkwood.edu. For kids 12-15 years old.
