Iowa City/Johnson County Senior Center Member class: Make a Bracelet: Intro to Stringing and Crimping

Bracelets are big this season. Wearing multiple bracelets at once is even better. This class places
a focus on professional stringing techniques. You will make one bracelet using Czech Republic
pressed glass beads and sterling silver spacers and clasp. This piece will be strung on flexible
wire using crimp beads with instruction on the proper use of crimping pliers. Your piece will be
secure and beautiful.
Registration is through the Center. Call 319 356-5220 to register. Registration is $28 and includes all materials and instruction. Payment is made on site at the time of class.

Pearl Knotting through Kirkwood Community College

Everyone needs a classic string of pearls. In this class, you will learn the secrets of making pearl knotting easy. Each person will leave with a bracelet made with fresh water pearls and a sterling silver clasp.

Jazzy Linked Wire Bracelet through Kirkwood Community College
