Create a circle of herringbone and cinch it together with a ladder stitch band to form a figure 8 link. Add a special bead on the bottom and you have a lovely pair of beaded earrings. Interlock these links to make a beaded chain.

Using instructions from beadwork designer Gianna Zimmerman-Lammering, make a beautiful pendant. The centerpiece is a Rivoli that is highly embellished with seed beads and Swarovski crystals. Then add an innovative herringbone technique that ends with a Swarovski dangle. Participants must download and print the instructions ($5.09) and bring them to class. Beadology Iowa will offer a supplement to enhance the instructions.

Follow instructions created by Laurel Kubby using a combination of peyote stitch and herringbone to make a beaded triangle with crisp corners. Then make a triangle within the triangle so the two are linked. These beaded earrings have lots of movement and are very light weight.

This project uses peyote and herringbone stitches to create square earring that look like a classic quilt square. Learn to follow a beading pattern. The earring are finished with a wire guard. You can invert the colors on the second square for a mismatched yet perfectly balanced look.
