Learn the basics of wire wrapping stones. Students will practice with copper wire to form a plan for a semi-precious stone, then move to sterling wire for the final project. Each stone is different, so each wrap is unique.

Ruth Bader Ginsburg (March 15,1933- Sept. 18,2020) was nominated by President Clinton in 1993 to become a Justice of the United States of America’s Supreme Court. This project is in honor of RBG’s commitment to gender equity by creating a mini version of her iconic collars. Participants will form a metal armature around which the beaded collar will be created using brick stitch, netting, and picots. Then add a scales of justice charm to complete the project.
