We sometimes come upon older jewelry that needs just a bit of loving care before they find their contemporary home. This pieces is from the 1940’s and is made from graduated, carved, black glass. It has been cleaned and restrung and is ready for wear. It has an extender on the back for varying the length.

This collaborative piece between wirework Dallas Lovette and Laurel Kubby is an asymmetrical piece of wearable art. The wirework is made up of sterling silver wire and Swarovski pearls. The crocheted lariat are glass metallic beads. The clasp is handmade to match the necklace and is an “S” hook. This piece sits at 26″.

The lariat on this piece by Karen Kubby utilizes spiral herringbone to get the twist. The slide is using peyote stitch and you can move it to be in your favorite position. The bottom part of the pendant has 2 bells inside. This piece is 24″ and is very light weight.

Prerequisites: Any seed bead weaving experience.
This workshop will share 7 stitches that can be used in a beaded chain or lariat. Learn the stitch, practice a few inches and end up with a sampler style necklace of all the options presented. Discussion will include how to decide which stitch may best suit your purpose.
During the COVID-19 recovery period, classes are limited to 6 people on a first come first served basis via paying the registration fee. Masks must be worn during class and participants will be spaced at least 6 feet from each other. Tools will not be shared and will be cleaned before and after use. Please call for more details about our safety protocols.
