Prerequisites: Basic cubed right angle weave skills. Call to schedule a private tutorial.
Use your cubed right angle weave skills to make a dimensional “bubble”. You will use 3 sizes of Toho seed beads to create a curved piece that you then connect into a tight circle. Add an ear wire and you are ready to go.
Butterfly Dangle Earring through Kirkwood Community College

Take a laser cut metal pendant with an etched butterfly wing, and add a Swarovski butterfly bead on top. This is a quick project that gets you some wirework practice—a bail and a wrapped loop.
Registration is through Kirkwood Community College. Register at:
www.kirkwood.edu and go to Continuing Education and then search for Beadology Iowa under the instructor search. On site registrations will be taken if registration through Kirkwood meets minimum requirements of two participants.

Using Czech mini seed beads, Karen Kubby has used cubed-right-angle weave to make these small women’s symbols to show your Woman Power.
One pair is a bronze iris bead, meaning the main color is bronze, yet there are flicks of blue and purple as well. This pair has gold filled ear wires. The other pair in blue iris with sterling silver ear wires that are the same size and price.
