This project is really fun and faster than you think. Peyote is the main stitch, yet the ends of the marquis are done with a herringbone stitch–don’t worry if you don’t know herringbone–the directions guide you through it well. Then embellish the outer rim. These are nice and colorful.

This mug rug looks like a little woven rug—and it is! It is made using peyote stitch, glass seed beads, and pressed glass feather beads from the Czech Republic.
Peyote stitch is easy to learn and the end result is a lovely piece of artwork on which to set a mug full of hot or cold beverage.
The kits contains all materials and instructions so you can start and complete this project. The picture shows a miniature completed mug rug. This kit is child-friendly!
Winged Earring Kit

This is a fun and quick project that incorporates herringbone corners with peyote stitch. The feather (dagger) bead on the end is just the right length, without making this a long earring. Use this pattern with more rows to make a bail to hang a larger bead.

This is a new kit using Cymbal Gem Duo findings, a new product on the market. There is an unusual thread path and quick method for changing directions outlined in the instructions.

This pattern was developed when many want to flip the House of Representatives to Democratic Control in 2018. We want you to learn to use brick stitch, Toho seed beads, and a rubber ring to make a pair of earrings that use two high contrast colors that are “flipped” on each half of the earring.
This kit includes the colors shown in the picture and gold filled ear wires.
Where the Rubber Meets the Bead Earring Kit

This kit helps you learn to bead around an armature. In this case, the armature is a 12mm rubber ring. Once the whip stitched beads are around the rubber ring, you will do brick stitch for the other row of beading. End this earring with a CRAW bail or a simple ring. The kit includes sterling ear wires.

It is so exciting that this style of earrings is popular again. This stitch has many names: Cheyenne, Brick, Cheyenne-Brick, and Comanche-Brick. It looks like a section of brick wall. It’s a favorite for earrings, as it’s practically made for fringe and is fairly fast.
