Nylon jaw pliers help you do 3 things. The first, is to take kinks out of wire by running the wire between the two nylon pads. At the same time, doing this hardens the wire a bit. And lastly, holding onto wire with nylon jaw pliers reduces any marring of the wire.
This style comes with replaceable pads, so when they become chipped and dented, you don’t have to buy an entire new tool. We carry more replacement pads for this tool for $3.00/pair.
