Spinel is black and shiny. Using a netting stitch from the 1920’s, Karen Kubby has designed and made this lovely piece that can be worn multiple ways with 2mm faceted spinel beads. The branched fringe is fun to look at and to touch. This is a delicate piece and needs to be worn and handled with loving care.
The lariat on this piece by Karen Kubby utilizes spiral herringbone to get the twist. The slide is using peyote stitch and you can move it to be in your favorite position. The bottom part of the pendant has 2 bells inside. This piece is 24″ and is very light weight.
This piece is adjustable with sliding knots on the leather in the back. This piece is 23-26″ and has wooden beads and 3 locally collected deer antler tips.
The ingredients for this cubed right angle piece designed by Karen Kubby is nothing but 3mm faceted rhodocrosite rondels and beading thread. The clasp is a matching beaded toggle. The necklace sits at 17″ plus the pendant. See the matching earrings.
