The wirework for this piece was done by Zanetta Hoehle of Tumbled Wire Designs. She is a Beadology Iowa guest instructor for wirework classes. It was created for us as a gift to help our business survive the COVID-19 pandemic. As a way of paying this kindness forward, 20% of the proceeds ($42) will go to the CommUnity Food Bank.
The picture on top is the back of the pendant. This piece is made from a petrified wood cabochon and copper wire. At its longest, this necklace is 18″ and can be adjusted to be shorter. It has a copper chain and swivel lobster clasp.
This 16″ kumihimo lariat made with Toho glass seed beads has lovely borosilicate drops in the middle. Finished with a sterling lobster class. Made by Laurel Kubby. Item #10018349.
These beads are full of color and fun–great for the summer. This necklace has an easy to use beaded toggle. The inside diameter of this piece is 15″, so its a close up necklace. See the matching earrings and bracelet. Designed and made by Karen Kubby.
The pendant in this Kumihimo necklace by Laurel Kubby hardly looks like glass. The warm tones, the matte nature of the color, the texture, and the screen embedded in the glass makes for a very unique feature. This necklace is made from hand-dyed cord and is 17″ long.
