3mm faceted coated hematite beads were stitched using cubed right angle weave into this goddess necklace. The closure is a beaded button and loop. Designed and made by Karen Kubby.
This is a collaborative piece between sisters Karen Kubby and Laurel Kubby. Using 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm Chinese crystals and cubed right angle weave and kumihimo, these two have created a sparkly and fun necklace.
This piece is adjustable with sliding knots on the leather in the back. This piece is 23-26″ and has wooden beads and 3 locally collected deer antler tips.
The wirework for this piece was done by Zanetta Hoehle of Tumbled Wire Designs. She is a Beadology Iowa guest instructor for wirework classes. It was created for us as a gift to help our business survive the COVID-19 pandemic. As a way of paying this kindness forward, 20% of the proceeds ($50) will go to the CommUnity Food Bank.
This piece is made from a yellow quartz cabochon and bronze wire. At its longest, this necklace is 21″ and can be adjusted to be shorter. It has a bronze and swivel lobster clasp.
