Herringbone Beaded Bead Earrings

Prerequisites: Herringbone stitch basics.
Use herringbone stitch using Miyuki Delica cylinder seed beads to make beaded beads. Use these beads along with Swarovski crystals to make a pair of earrings.

Use Toho seed beads in brick stitch with a rubber ring to make a fun pair of light weight earrings. In this project, the high contrast thread and the ring are part of the design.
Registration is through Kirkwood Community College. Register at: www.kirkwood.edu and go to Continuing Education and then search for Beadology Iowa under the instructor search. On site registrations will be taken if registration through Kirkwood meets minimum requirements of two participants. Instructor: Karen Kubby.

Participants are encouraged to bring asymmetrical pieces from their collection—those that work and those that don’t—to be incorporated into the conversation.
