Use Cubed Right Angle Weave (CRAW) and Toho seed beads to create a curved armature as the base of the pendant. Then embellish with layers of Swarovski crystals. This project can easily be made bigger for a larger pendant and done twice to create a pair of earrings.

Dragonfly Pendant

Get creative with right angle weave (RAW) to make the upper body of a dragonfly using Swarovski crystals, Toho seed beads, and pressed glass. The upper body is a beaded bead. String this bead on a headpin with other beads to make the segmented lower body of the dragonfly.

Make Your Own Ear Wires

Tree of Life Pendant

This class places a focus on professional stringing and design techniques. You will make two bracelets using Czech Republic glass beads and sterling silver. Make Glass Beads: Intro to Lampworking through Kirkwood Community College

This class will teach you the art of lampworking, a technique of using a torch and melting glass rods to create various shapes. Safety and appropriate equipment handling are emphasized. Your beads will need to stay in a kiln overnight to be annealed. No previous experience needed.
NOTE: Participants must be at least 15 years old.

Stacked Textured Rings

Class Cancellation Policy
Class fees are due at time of registration. Cancellations must be made at least 5 days in advance of class in order to receive store credit. There are no cash refunds for cancellations issued by the student.
If Beadology Iowa cancels a class, the student can choose to transfer registration to another class, receive store credit, or receive a refund.

Using a pattern by Justyna Szlezak, create this lovely and light weight floral pendant. Participants will be guided in the use of her instructions. Use herringbone and peyote stitch to build this form that will twist and turn its way into a lovely flower at the last minute.
